滨松成功研发出拥有世界最高耐光性400 GW/cm^2的工业级空间光调制器

滨松公司利用独创的薄膜设计及电路设计技术,成功开发出耐光强度达400 GW/cm2的世界最高耐光性能的液晶空间光调制器(Spatial Light Modulator,以下简称SLM)。该产品可广泛应用于高功率的工业级脉冲激光加工装置,可对重量轻,强度大的碳纤维复合材料(CFRP)等不易加工材料进行高速度,高精度的加工处理。

SLM是一种通过液晶来控制激光等入射光束的波面(※)来任意调整反射光波面形状的光学元件。带像素电极的硅基板和有透明电极的玻璃基板之间夹有液晶层,通过电脑来控制像素电极来改变液晶分子倾角,进而改变入射光的传播长度,同时矫正入射光的进程和畸变,达到对激光光束模型进行自在调控的目的。 ※ 光的波面:光具有波粒二象性。光作为波动传播时,某一时刻将其波形高度(相位)相同点连接起来的面称为波面,光的前进方向与波面垂直。
